Western Growers has identified the following international goals and action plans:
- Expand export opportunities for fruits, vegetables, and nuts through trade negotiations.
- Pursue activities towards the elimination of EU subsidy programs.
- Call for the imposition of countervailing duties on imports from countries that provide subsidies
- Identify industry export goals
Transportation
Western Growers offers a premier logistical transportation program for the exclusive benefit of WG regular members. This service has been developed in conjunction with C H Robinson Worldwide offering participating members reasonable rates and capacity to move produce throughout the year.
