Senior VP of Insurance Sales Operations

As the Senior VP of Sales Operations you will report directly to Tom Nassif, President/CEO. You will have the following direct reports: Vice President Sales Operations, AVP of Commercial Lines, AVP of Account Management, Director of Business Development and Large Groups, Production Administrator, and Manager Commercial Lines/Sales in Arizona.  Position is responsible for tactical planning and implementing the strategic objectives of Western Growers Insurance Sales, all lines.    

 

Sales - Insurance
Manager of Employee Benefits Administration
As the Manager of our Employee Benefits Administration Department you will be responsible for Group Benefit Eligibility, Enrollment, and Financial Administration functions. 
 
A sample of what you can look forward to doing;
 
Setting-up and maintaining all of Western Growers Assurance Trust (WGAT) and Pinnacle Claims Management (PCM) Employer Group accounts. Including group set-up, enrollment, eligibility management and member employer group eligibility audits.  
 
Provide educational assistance to clients relative to employee benefit administration functions, policies and procedures.
 
Lead a Financial Processing Team responsible for all vendor payments, network fee payments, claims reimbursement processing, cash application, retiree billing, FSA processing, group delinquency processing, ACH processing, cash application, month end balancing, group billing and A/R management of all WGAT and PCMI accounts.  
 
Hiring, training and managing staff including both staff development and corrective discipline.  
 
Monitor business needs and develop documented processes and procedures as needed to create and maintain effective and productive workflows.  
 
Act as liaison with other departments to resolve Administration related issues and intra-company workflow issues.

As a Case Management and Utilization Review RN you will be responsible for Care Management programs to ensure compliance, promote quality care, and effective cost savings for our patients and clients. To be successful you’ll have a comprehensive understanding of generally accepted medical practices, state and ERISA mandated benefits, insurance plan language, and contracts.

Regional Sales Manager - Health Insurance

Western Growers Insurance Services is a full service insurance agency providing insurance products and services tailored specifically for the agricultural industry and beyond. We are committed to understanding our customer’s insurance needs and providing them with exceptional service, professional advice, and high quality products at affordable prices.

The Regional Sales Managers (RSM) reports to the Vice President Sales Operations.  As a RSM you are responsible for selling group medical, dental, vision, workers compensation, property/casualty and life insurance products to new customers.   The RSM will also partner with the Account Management and the Insurance Service Coordinators to form a unified sales and service team.

This opportunity has a base salary paired with a competitive commission and bonuses!

A FEW of the DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet and exceed all assigned new sales goals. 
  • Develop detailed sales plans that result in sales success. 
  • Prospect for new business. Majority of your time will be in-person “Door Knocking” businesses that grows, packs, or ships produce and/or nuts.
  • Interface regularly with Underwriting by providing accurate prospect information to establish best customers rates.
  • Identify and enlist the help of internal and external resources/staff in order to close sales. 
  • Document results of all visits and conversations in CRM system.
  • Develop strategic relationships with Brokers/Agents. 
  • Maintain awareness of competitive activities and opportunities. 
  • Transmit marketing and sales intelligence relating to competition and changes in the marketplace.
  • Participate as a leader within employee health benefits marketplace professional organizations.
  • Maintain a regular course of self-improvement to satisfy licensing continuing education requirements and increase professional job knowledge.

Account Manager - Health Insurance

As our Account Manager, you will be responsible for achieving customer retention and deepening our relationships with current customers through service, renewals and cross-sales.  You will also partner with the Regional Sales Managers to maximize marketplace new sales. 

This opportunity has a base salary paired with a competitive commission and bonuses!

 

A FEW of the DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop current customer retention, renewals, and cross-sell plans that result in revenue and success.
  • Interface regularly with Underwriting by providing accurate prospect information to establish best customers rates.
  • Recognize and rally essential internal and external resources in order to close sales. 
  • Document results of all visits and conversations in CRM system. 
  • Maintain current, accurate sales records and submit concise, timely sales reports.
  • Keep well informed on intelligence relating to competition and communicate marketing and sales changes in the marketplace.
  • Participate as a leader within employee health benefits marketplace professional organizations.
  • Extensive travel (approximately 65%).
  • Maintain collaborative working relationship with our Broker/Agent partners.
  • Sustain a regular course of self-improvement to satisfy licensing continuing education requirements and increase professional job knowledge.

Regional Sales Manager/Commercial Lines - Coastal Region

The Commercial Lines Regional Sales Managers (RSM) reports to the Asst. Vice President, Sales. As a Commercial Lines RSM you are responsible for selling Property/Casualty, Liability and other commercial lines Insurance products to new customers. The RSM is also expected to partner with their Employee (Health) Benefits RSM, Account Managers and additional team members to form a unified sales and service team.
