Bruce Taylor Named Western Growers’ Chairman of the Board at 88th Annual Meeting in Hawaii

At its 88th Annual Meeting Monday, the Western Growers Board of Directors installed Bruce C. Taylor, chairman and CEO of Taylor Farms California as the new chairman of the organization.  Taylor will take over volunteer leadership responsibilities from outgoing Chairman Steve Barnard, president and CEO of Mission Produce, Inc. Taylor will assume his duties as chairman at the close of this week’s annual meeting.

On Monday, attendees at WG’s Annual Meeting PAC Luncheon in Honolulu heard U.S. Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA) deliver remarks and answer audience questions about several initiatives he has taken on as the Chairman of the House Government and Oversight Committee.  Issa spoke of the failures of government and how failure is not unique to any particular administration.
