Western Growers Assurance Trust hosted another successful round of executive forums on Health Care Reform– and there are still many more opportunities for members throughout California and Arizona to attend one of these important events.

Former WG Board of Director Jack Vessey, of Vessey & Company Inc., along with current Director Vic Smith, WG vice chairman with JV Smith Companies kicked off events in their districts. Next, WG’s Compliance Counsel Jonathan Alexander helped guide owners and key decision makers in preparing for the 2014 Affordable Care Act mandates. Alexander, Asst. Vice President of Underwriting Larry Labriola and Craig Ohlsen, Vice President Western Growers Insurance Services demonstrated how members can analyze their existing workforce to anticipate costs for next year using the Western Growers proprietary cost calculator. Those in attendance walked away with health care options to consider for 2014. WG Insurance Services staff will follow up one-on-one with those interested in utilizing the calculator to strategize specific solutions and costs for the coming year.

Don’t miss the next opportunity for you and your staff to learn how to prepare for the ACA mandates. With 2014 around the corner, this forum is a must for CEOs, CFOs, principals, HR leaders and anyone involved in making health benefit decisions for your business. Join WG in Santa Maria and Oxnard, both of which are on April 16 or Irvine on April 18. Registration is required. Visit the WG Resource Center today to register for any of the upcoming forums. We look forward to seeing you!
