Western Growers Assurance Trust hosted another successful round of executive forums on Health Care Reform– with more than 150 attendees. Next week in the Central Valley marks the next opportunity for members to attend one of these important events.

WG Director Mark Teixeira kicked off the event in Santa Maria, and David Zanze, senior vice president of Western Growers Assurance Trust, helped kick off the event in Irvine Thursday. Next, WG’s Compliance Counsel Jonathan Alexander helped guide owners and key decision makers in preparing for the 2014 Affordable Care Act mandates. Alexander, Asst. Vice President of Underwriting Larry Labriola and Craig Ohlsen, vice president Western Growers Insurance Services demonstrated how members can analyze their existing workforce to anticipate costs for next year using Western Growers proprietary cost calculator. Those in attendance walked away with health care options to consider for 2014. WG Insurance Services staff will follow up one-on-one with those interested in utilizing the calculator to strategize specific solutions and costs for the coming year.
