Sessions on food safety audits will be conducted for cantaloupe growers.

The California Cantaloupe Advisory Board has scheduled two training sessions for next Tuesday, June 11, to help handlers and growers prepare for the mandatory food safety audits being conducted by the California Department of Food and Agriculture.

The first session will be held at the Fresno County Farm Bureau building in Fresno at 8:15 a.m.  The second is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Merced County Farm Bureau in Merced.  Each is free of charge and will last three hours.
