Date: Jul 09, 2013
WG will host a food safety webinar on July 18.

A few days ago, the 4th annual produce research symposium was held by the Center of Produce Safety (CPS) in Rochester, N.Y.  The event brought together scientists, industry and government. The work of CPS has been very valuable to the produce community and to government. If you were not able to attend this symposium, this is an excellent opportunity to hear the highlights from that meeting.

Join us on Thursday, July 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. PDT for an overview of this year’s symposium and key findings as well as information on future events.

The webinar presenters will include CPS Executive Director Bonnie Fernandez-Fenaroli and Dr. Robert Whitaker, chief science & technology officer of Produce Marketing Association, who is responsible for PMA’s efforts in food safety and technology across the produce supply chain.
