Comment Period on Leafy Green Metrics Opens

Starting Feb. 1, WG will gather proposed changes to Issues 13 & 14 (Production Locations) of the leafy green guidance documents utilized by the Leafy Green Marketing Agreements (LGMA) in Arizona and California. Proposed changes may be submitted by email to ssalas@wga.com or by fax at (949) 809-6251. The deadline to submit proposed changes is March 1.

Enviro Groups, Water Agencies Call for Smaller Delta Tunnel

As the Bay Delta Conservation Plan (BDCP) nears final public review, a group of environmental organizations and water agencies yesterday proposed downsizing the 9,000 cubic feet per second (cfs) tunnels envisioned in the BDCP, calling instead for a single smaller tunnel that would only deliver 3,000 cfs to state and federal export pumps in the south Delta.
