After an initial discovery of one male Asian Citrus Psyllid (ACD) in Kern County by local agriculture officials on September 5, the California Department of Food and Agriculture has expanded its quarantine of affected areas to include: Dinuba in Tulare County and Wasco in Kern County.  Quarantines were already in place in Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Imperial, Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.

The quarantine affects the movement of host nursery stock and commercial citrus fruit.  Backyard citrus should also not be transported from the quarantined areas.
