Think You Have a ‘Head’ for Lettuce? Then mark your calendars! The Yuma Lettuce Days Festival is being held March 1st and 2nd, at the Quartermaster Depot State Historic Park in Yuma, Arizona.  This event is a perfect opportunity to celebrate and learn about the importance of Yuma's agricultural industry to the community. The Festival combines locally grown ingredients, interactive displays, exhibitors and vendors, and Yuma culture into a sophisticated, educational and entertaining weekend event. Visitors have the opportunity to sample a variety of locally grown freshly made food and beverages in an outdoor setting over the weekend.

You can show your support for Western Growers Foundation’s (WGF) edible school gardens program by participating in the Recipe Box booth.  There you can sample delicacies from local restaurants and bars. Visit the Recipe Box on Saturday, March 1st from 1-4 pm; proceeds go to WGF.  For more information on WGF, contact Paula Olson.
