In addition to its drought web page which was announced last week, the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) is teaming with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to hold information sessions for farmers on various drought resources that are available to them. According to a press release issued February 12, the sessions will be held throughout the state and will provide information on a variety of state and federal programs. Information sessions are scheduled to run through February 26.
The session will include Information on programs such as water conservation, crop insurance and other on–farm management tools, as well as information on farmworker assistance programs.
