ASP Quarantine Expands in Kern County

The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) announced today that an additional portion of Kern County has been placed under quarantine due to the detection of one Asian citrus psyllid south of the city of Bakersfield.  The new quarantine zone measures 148-square miles in and around the city.

In addition to quarantines in portions of Kern, Fresno, and San Luis Obispo counties, ACP entire-county quarantines remain in place in Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Tulare, and Ventura counties.
