FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg announced Thursday the FDA intends to extend the comment period on both FDA proposed rules for 120 days. This should extend the deadline for comments to sometime in early September, but official notice and dates are still forthcoming. Hamburg made the announcement Thursday morning during FDA’s budget hearing.
