Western Growers would like to thank those members who renewed their membership during this year’s annual renewal period.  Your membership renewal allows you to continue receiving all of the benefits WG offers and to which you are accustomed.  An official thank you was recently sent, but we wanted to take this opportunity to once again publicly acknowledge all of those who renewed.

The new and improved strawberry crop insurance program has a sales closing date of September 30, 2014, for winter-planted strawberries this year.  That means that growers interested in purchasing the coverage must complete an application by that date in order to secure the coverage for their winter berries.  Western Growers Insurance Services (WGIS) has a number of qualified crop insurance sales people who can assist in getting the paperwork completed and submitted on time to get the coverage in place.

With two months to go before the 89th Annual Meeting kicks off in Las Vegas at the Bellagio Hotel and Resort, it’s never too early to acknowledge and thank those companies who have already made the decision to sponsor the event.  Their support and participation makes our association’s biggest member networking event of the year possible.  Western Growers would especially like to thank our 15 Platinum and four Gold Sponsors for their participation and would remind other members that plenty of sponsorship opportunities still exist.
