Fresno Bee Publishes Nassif Op-ed on Groundwater Overdraft

A recent federal report on groundwater overdraft and land subsidence in the San Joaquin Valley generated renewed criticism of farmers’ water use. WG’s Tom Nassif responded with an op-ed published by the Fresno Bee calling for the restoration of adequate surface water supplies that would protect the Valley’s economic contributions to California while reversing groundwater depletion.

Nassif Visits with Denver Post Editorial Board to Discuss Immigration Reform

Last week, president and CEO of Western Growers, Tom Nassif, visited with the Editorial Board of the Denver Post to discuss the need for immigration reform, specifically as it relates to the agriculture industry.
