Western Growers President and CEO Tom Nassif made another trip to Washington, D.C. this week to generate support for Senate Bill 744, “The Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act.” The agriculture provisions of the bill represent our best hope to secure a remedy that will legalize our existing workforce and provide a way to secure workers in the future.
