New Director for Arizona Department of Water Resources Director Named

According to a press release issued today, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer appointed Michael J. Lacey to serve as the new Director of the Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR).

Lacey has served as the Deputy Director of the Department since 2011 where he was responsible for overseeing the protection and administration of water rights and water supplies.  Lacey brings three decades of water experience to the position.

Western Growers is once again participating in the annual California Wage and Benefit Survey conducted by Farm Employers Labor Service (FELS®). The survey provides a market reference for growers making wage and benefit decisions for 14 on-the-farm jobs including: supervisors and foremen; mechanics; equipment operators and tractor drivers; irrigators; and general laborers. This survey is used to develop a reference on California market conditions.
