The California Department of Food and Agriculture is hosting a listening session on the Food Safety Modernization Act (FMSA) in Sacramento, California, on Thursday November 6, 2014.  The event is sponsored by Western Growers and several other agriculture organizations and is intended to provide industry with an overview of the updated proposed rules, solicit comments, respond to questions, and inform the public about the rulemaking process.
