A new tomato variety from Golden Valley Seed



Cucumber GVS 609 F1 Hybrid Beit Alpha Parthenocarpic variety

A Beit Alpha Persian 100% female (gynoecious) hybrid.  It is a cucumber for green houses, plastic tunnels well adapted to spring, summer, and early fall planting.  GVS 609 is early, producing high yields in a concentrated period.  The fruits are dark green in color, cylindrical in shape, firm and very tasty.  Fruit size averages 16-18 cm.  Disease Resistance: CMVR, MMVR, PMR, DMR, ZYMV.




Sweet Pepper GVS 4007 F1 Hybrid

GVS 4007 F1 Hybrid is a sweet elongated Lamuyo type, bell pepper.  Very uniform shape fruits, with uniform high yield.  Three to four Lobes, flesh color green turning to red at maturity.  Approximate size of fruit: length 15 cm, diameter 8 cm.  Maturity: 71 to 76 days from transplanting. Disease Resistance: TMV (tobacco mosaic virus), to BST (bacterial spot), and to PVY (potato virus Y).




Onion Golden Gate F1 Hybrid

This short day onion variety has a globe shape.  It has a medium to large bulb, yellow brown skin, and has mild pungency.  Golden Gate is a short day variety.  It is very similar in maturity to Granex F1.  Under proper conditions it can store for four months and is widely adapted to a variety of growing conditions.  Maturity: 160 days. Very early.  Disease Resistance: Pink Root Disease, Fusarium Basal Rot, with tolerance to thrips.




Tomato Rio Royal F1 Hybrid

The plant is a determinate plant habit, excellent foliage cover.  The fruits are Rio Grande / Saladette in shape, have a uniform shoulder color, large size (125–135 grams), and very firm.  Maturity: 80-85 days from transplanting.  Very high concentrated yields with uniform fruits.  Disease Resistance: Verticillium wilt race 1, Fusarium wilt race 1, and 2, TYLCV.  Alternaria stem canker, Root knot nematodes and Stemphylium.


Tomato GVS 700 F1 Hybrid

The plants are indeterminate with strong growth.  The fruits are medium to medium large size (180-200 grams), with very good firmness and very good long shelf life.  Shape is flattened globe.  Maturity: Medium Early.  Disease Resistance: Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt race 1 and 2, Tobacco mosaic virus & Nematodes.  This tomato is a long shelf life variety.  It is for autumn and spring planting in a greenhouse and plastic houses, and on stakes outdoor.


Tomato GVS 909 F1 Hybrid

Plants are vigorous, indeterminate and very large.  It produces heavy yield and good quality fruits over a long period.  Fruits are oblate to deep oblate shape, uniform green shoulder, large size (230 grams), smooth, good color and firm.  Maturity: Early to medium early.  Disease Resistance: Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt race 1,  Alternaria stem canker, Stemphylium, Tobacco mosaic virus, and Root knot nematodes.  A high yielding hybrid combines with multiple disease tolerance for greenhouse or outdoor pole production.




Melon Galia (GVS 212) F1 Hybrid

This variety has medium netting, round in shape, exterior coloring is yellow-orange.   Interior coloring is light green near the center to dark green near the rind.  Very sweet flavorful and juicy, high sugar content.  Average size is 1 – 1.5 kilograms.  Maturity: 85 days. Disease Resistance: Powdery Mildew, Fusarium Wilt (race 0,1,2).  This variety is high producing suitable for both outdoor and greenhouse production.


Melon Cananas F1 Hybrid

Cananas F1 is a new hybrid. The fruit has sparse netting is oval shape. Exterior coloring is golden yellow, while the interior is creamy white.  This melon is extremely very honey sweet.  23% Brix.  Average size is 9 inches long by 6 inches wide.  Average weight 3 – 3.5 lbs.  Maturity: Approximately 98 days.  Disease Resistance: Fusarium (race 0,1,2), Powdery Mildew.  This variety is the new novelty.  It has a really good aromatic flavor.  It has excellent long shipping ability.




Mini Seedless Watermelon Bijou F1 Hybrid

Bijou is a new seedless variety, early maturity, round in shape, and averages 3.5 – 4 pounds.  Disease Tolerance to: Fusarium race 1 & 2, Anthracnose race 1 & 3. & Gummy stem blight, Downy Mildew.  The inside flesh is red very firm and crispy, with excellent taste and flavor.  It is perfect for an individual serving.  It is suitable for fresh markets and home gardens.


Mini Seedless Watermelon Panther F1 Hybrid

The vine is medium and spreading.  Panther F1 fruits are seedless, round in shape, and averages 2.0 – 2.5 kgs.  The rind is medium thin and dark green.  The flesh is very firm and bright red in color and sweet, high sugar content 13.5%. Maturity: Medium Early.  Disease Resistance: Fusarium race 1 & 2, Anthracnose race 1 & 3.  Gummy stem blight, Downy Mildew.  Panther is a new seedless variety.  It is perfect for an individual serving.  It is suitable for fresh markets and home gardens.
