National Membership

We’re less than 50 days away from the start of the 91st Annual Meeting being held at the Grand Hyatt Resort & Spa in Kauai. This fun-filled and informative event is bringing hundreds of Western Growers’ members together to mix and mingle amid Hawaii’s lush tropical setting. As always, the Annual Meeting would not be possible without the support of our sponsors. As we prepare to don our Hawaiian shirts and dresses, Western Growers would like to thank all of our sponsors for their generous support! See a list of all of our sponsors below.

To celebrate their successes, Western Growers (WG) is honoring Miles and Garland Reiter during the Award of Honor Dinner at Western Growers’ 91st Annual Meeting in Hawaii. This is the first time in WG’s history that the Board of Directors has chosen two individuals to receive the award together, and there is no better pair worthy of this honor than the extraordinary brother duo who have established themselves as pioneers in the berry industry.

Yesterday, Western Growers and C.H. Robinson hosted a Giving Day to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Western Growers Transportation Program. The national event used C.H. Robinson’s Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, hub and transportation system to collect and distribute 240,000 pounds of produce donations made by Western Growers’ members to Feeding America locations across the country.

Feeding America is the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization, providing food to 46 million low-income Americans every year.

Retired Navy Flag Officer Garry E. Hall will headline the Major Lunch at the 91st Annual Meeting this November in Hawaii. Admiral Hall’s military and private sector experience will allow him to touch on broad themes such as global security, bio-terrorism and food security. His background in naval aviation, surface warfare and Navy and Marine Corps expeditionary warfare, combined with 20 years of senior management as a civilian, will make for an intriguing keynote address.
