Bardin Bengard

Bardin Bengard’s father, Tom, founded Tom Bengard Ranch in 1961 as a grower- shipper operation. Bardin began his career directing the family’s orchard operations in Redding and managing the bulk lettuce harvesting operation.

Bardin earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Davis and a master’s degree in agricultural business from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.

Bengard Ranch, founded in 2000, is a grower and shipper of vegetables, including broccoli, lettuce, cauliflower, celery, radicchio, spinach and mixed lettuce. Bardin is a member of the Grower-Shipper Association of Central California, Rancheros Visitadores, California Farm Bureau Federation, Cattlemen’s Association, and the California Leafy Greens Products Handler Marketing Agreement.

Bardin was elected to the board in 2001.
