Cory Lunde
Western Growers, Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives & Communications

Cory Lunde serves as Policy Analyst and Project Manager for Western Growers. In this position, he provides assistance to the Western Growers President and CEO on agricultural policy and federal and state legislative issues. Cory is responsible for facilitating the development and implementation of the Western Growers’ strategic plan and serves as the lead for specific CEO-directed projects ensuring timely completion, quality results and consistency with the organization’s mission and strategic plan. 

Cory has a background in education and politics. Prior to joining Western Growers, he spent four years as a high school history teacher and baseball coach and worked as a research analyst on former State Senator Chuck Poochigian’s California Attorney General campaign. Cory earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Portland and his master’s degree in public administration from the University of Southern California.
