Bob Giragosian is the Managing Member of Kern Ridge Growers, LLC.
Founded in 1973 by seven Italian families farming in Kern County, Kern Ridge Growers started as a Co-Op and later became a corporation owned by three of the original families: Jimmy Icardo, David Cerrina and Donald Valpredo. Kern Ridge became a Limited Liability Company when Robert Giragosian was brought in as the Managing Member in 1996.
Bob received his BA from California State University, Fresno, CA in 1973 and his MBA from Claremont Graduate University in 1978.
Bob has worked in the industry for 43 years starting with Marshburn Farms. He then became the General Manager of Grimmway as General Manager for 16 years. After leaving Grimmway in early 1996, he became Managing Member of Kern Ridge Growers, LLC later that year.
In his free time, Bob enjoys tournament bridge, pickle ball, golf, and family time with his wife, grown kids and their wives, and four grandchildren.
