California Member Uesugi Farms is well on its way to a more sustainable future with its latest addition. The farm is now home to the largest solar panel project in unincorporated Santa Clara County, according to a news source. According to the report, the project will generate 90 percent of Uesugi Farms’ on-site electrical needs – that’s equivalent to the consumption of 100 average homes. The project will offset more than 800 tons of carbon.
