Lorri Koster, chief executive officer for Mann’s Packing Co., a long–time Western Growers Member, was awarded 2013 Produce Marketer of the Year from The Packer. According to a story from The Packer, the award was presented on October 20 at the Produce Marketing Association Fresh Summit in New Orleans by Greg Johnson, editor of the well-known agriculture publication.
This is not the first time a Koster has won the award. In 1984, Koster’s father was also presented with the honor.
The Mann’s Packing website describes the company as “a family-owned, women-owned company with generations of many families working for the organization.”
