Los Angeles Times Publishes Letter from Tom Nassif

In response to an op-ed piece published in the Los Angeles Times Friday, March 28, WG President and CEO Tom Nassif sent a Letter to the Editor correcting the myths about water use and efficiency on California farms highlighted in the op-ed by an adjunct professor from Pepperdine University.  It was published on Sunday, March 30. Nassif wrote:  “Agricultural water efficiency has never been greater.  Farmers have invested billions of dollars in drip irrigation and other efficiency technologies and produce 85.4 percent more food and fiber per acre-foot of water than they did in 1967.”
