AgSafe, an agriculture-based safety organization, has developed a food safety training course for produce harvesting. This class will be helpful to everyone in the produce business especially those involved in harvesting specialty crops. It will give supervisors, foremen, crew leads and field workers basic knowledge regarding sanitation and hygiene principles that are often noted in food safety audits. The sessions are open to anyone interested in attending and will be held on the following dates at these locations:
April 29th Imperial, CA
June 17th Bakersfield, CA
July 1st Huron, CA
July 9th Firebaugh, CA
Sessions last 4 hours and will be conducted in both English and Spanish. The cost is only $25 per person or $20 per person for groups of 5 or more. For more information, contact AgSafe at (209) 526-4400 or email@example.com.
