If you want to contact the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act program office, you will have to update your contact information. According to the Packer, the PACA National License Center has moved to USDA Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The center’s direct phone line is (202) 260-8556, and fax is (202) 260-8575. Staff e-mails remain the same as does the general e-mail at PACALicense@ams.usda.gov. The offices are now located with the USDA’s Dispute Resolution Branch and the Investigative Enforcement Branch.
The PACA Eastern Region Office has also relocated to Fredericksburg, Virginia. The new phone number will be (540) 376-6022, and fax will be (540) 373-2690. This office is co-located with the Agricultural Marketing Service Fruit and Vegetable Program Specialty Crops Inspection Division Training Center.
PACA has also changed the general emails to its other offices. The changes are as follows:
- Central Regional Office: PACACentral@ams.usda.gov
- Western Regional Office: PACAWest@ams.usda.gov
- Dispute Resolution Branch: PACADispute@ams.usda.gov
- Investigative Enforcement Branch: PACAInvestigations@ams.usda.gov
