Jonathan Sarager

Western Growers, Senior Federal Government Affairs Director

Jonathan Sarager is the Senior Director of Federal Government Affairs for Western Growers (WG). Jonathan has been advocating for WG members in Washington, DC for seven years in the areas of labor, food safety, and pesticides. He participates on the Agriculture Workforce Committee steering committee and is the chair of the IR-4 Commodity Liaison Coalition Government Affairs Subcommittee. Jonathan spent several years on capitol hill including at the Senate Judiciary Committee where he worked on DACA, H-2A, and EB-5 legislative efforts. He also worked on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and in an Arizona congressional office. He earned a BS degree from Arizona State University, and a JD from Texas Tech University. Jonathan is originally from Phoenix, Arizona and now lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and three boys.
