Larry Cox

Larry Cox and his wife Tina founded Lawrence Cox Ranches in 1984 and began farming a 70-acre cotton field. The company now farms 3,300 acres in the Imperial Valley and the production has expanded to include all types of lettuce, melons, onions, asparagus, wheat, alfalfa, grains, hay and seed crops. In 1991, the company expanded farming operations to Mexico.

Larry worked on the family’s farm from 1970 to 1984, and co-founded Coastline Farms in 1991. He received his bachelor’s degree in crop science from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo. Larry is a member of the California Farm Bureau Federation and the Imperial Valley Vegetable Growers Association.

Larry was elected to the board in 2009, and served as chairman in 2016.
