November 2014: Drought Diagnosis--Difficult Year Ahead

Tami Glover

Position: Regional Sales Manager

Background:  Tami just started at Western Growers, but she is no stranger to agriculture. Having grown up in the agriculturally-rich area of Skagit County, WA, Tami spent her teenage summers in a variety of crop production roles — from picking spinach and cucumbers to grading and packing cauliflower, broccoli and potatoes — to earn school clothes money.  The value of hard work and an appreciation of how fresh produce gets to the dinner table, gleaned in her earlier years, made the opportunity of working for Western Growers an easy choice. It’s pretty simple: agriculture is this nation’s lifeblood.

Moving to Western Growers made even more sense because the position involves Tami’s career passion: health insurance benefits and the ability to help clients arrive at the right solutions in a fast-changing and complex area that poses significant challenges to business owners and their hard working employees.  With more than 20 years of benefits, claims and business solutions experience, Tami is ready to help clients over the hurdles of implementing Affordable Care Act compliant benefit packages while keeping the customer’s best interest and business needs at the forefront.
