Varney believes that if a Republican wins the presidency, the stock market will rally in anticipation of changes to tax policy.  Specifically, he expects the elimination or significant reduction of taxes on foreign profits by American corporations will drive economic growth.  With American companies holding billions of dollars in profits overseas, Varney believes lowering or eliminating the tax rates will spark a wave of reinvestment here.
