The webinar was conducted by WG Vice President and General Counsel Jason Resnick and was held exclusively for WG members to help clarify what the new piece-rate law (AB 1513) means for employers. Governor Jerry Brown signed AB 1513 on October 10, 2015. 

Specifically, the webinar addressed how this law will apply to your workplace and what to do to prepare to 1) potentially take advantage of the safe harbor, and 2) understand how to properly compensate for rest and recovery periods and non-productive time beginning January 1, 2016.
