WG Member Honored by White House for Being a Champion of Change

Yesterday, twelve individuals were honored as “White House Champions of Change for Sustainable and Climate-Smart Agriculture.” Jesus (Jesse) Rodriguez, farm manager at Sano Farms, was one of those recognized during the ceremony.  Sano Farms is a Western Growers member that operates out of Firebaugh, California.

The White House Champions’ of Change Program honors farmers, ranchers, land managers, agricultural educators, crop advisors, and other leaders who are taking steps to improve the sustainability of their operations, and educating others to do the same.

Western Growers would like to congratulate Jesus and Sano Farms on this outstanding recognition.
