A California Court of Appeal has affirmed a trial court’s decision to reduce nearly $56 million in requested Private Attorneys General Act penalties to approximately $516,000. California Minimum Wage Will Increase to $17.40 in 2027

California’s statewide minimum wage will increase from $16.90 to $17.40 per hour effective January 1, 2027.
